Ox Musculus Cutaneous / Cutaneous muscle / Panniculus carnosus Some striated muscles are placed at the subcutis in some parts of the body are known as cutaneous muscles. In some places, these fibers are inserted into the skin. They may have connection with the skeleton. It is divided into – Facial (cutaneous facial) part Omo-brachial (cutaneous
The accessory structures of the muscles are the fasciae and synovial membranes. Synovial membranes are thin walled sacs.
Cardiac muscle is found only in the heart, the immediate proximal ends of aorta, pulmonary artery and pulmonary veins
mooth muscle is also called as non-striated or involuntary muscle, because the contraction of the muscle is not controlled by the will of the animal
They are both directly or indirectly attached to the skeleton and hence often named as skeletal muscles
Myology deals with the study of muscles (musculi) and their accessory structures such as the fasciae and synovial membranes. The muscles of animals are highly specialized organ.
The study of biomechanics ranges from the function of a cell to the movement and development of limbs, to the mechanical properties of soft tissue, and bones
Movement is brought about by the coordinated movement of the different body parts. During locomotion, the limbs are moved in a repetitive and regular sequence
The centre of gravity is the point where the maximum weight of the body is exerted. It varies in position static animal and during locomotion
Forward propulsion in locomotion is mainly brought about by the action of pelvic limbs. Hence, they are stronger, more muscular…
