Welcome to Vetscraft. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Vetscraft website at vetscraft.com, the Vetscraft Android app, your Vetscraft account, and the content and services available through them. By using these services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
1. About Vetscraft
Vetscraft provides veterinary educational and reference content, including articles, study materials, and a Veterinary Drug Index. Some content and features are available without payment; others require an account or an active subscription. Available features may differ between the website and app and may change over time.
2. Educational use and professional judgment
Vetscraft content is provided for education and general reference. It is not a substitute for a veterinarian’s independent clinical judgment, examination of an animal, current product labeling, local prescribing rules, or advice from an appropriately qualified professional. Drug indications, doses, contraindications, withdrawal periods, and other clinical information may vary by species, product, location, and individual case. Verify important information against current authoritative sources before making clinical decisions.
We aim to keep content useful and accurate, but we do not guarantee that every item is complete, current, or suitable for a particular animal or situation. Do not delay urgent veterinary care because of information found on Vetscraft.
3. Accounts and access
You may need a Vetscraft account to use certain website or app features. The same account may be used across supported Vetscraft services. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure, and notify us at hello@vetscraft.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account to the extent permitted by law.
Access to a feature depends on your account status and applicable plan. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security issues, nonpayment, or a violation of these terms. If we make a mistake, contact us so we can review it.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Subscription benefits, prices, billing periods, and any introductory offers are shown before you confirm a purchase. Subscriptions generally renew automatically for the displayed billing period unless canceled before the next renewal, subject to the terms shown by the payment provider. Prices and taxes may vary by location and provider.
A subscription purchased in the Android app is billed and managed by Google Play. A website subscription may be managed by Google Subscriptions (Reader Revenue Manager). Other existing subscriptions or access grants may have a different manager. Your Vetscraft account can recognize eligible access across supported services, but the original provider remains responsible for its billing and cancellation controls. Check the manager shown in your account before buying another plan to avoid overlapping charges.
To manage or cancel a Google Play subscription, use Google Play subscriptions. To manage a website subscription billed through Google, use Google Payments subscriptions and services. Uninstalling the app or requesting deletion of your Vetscraft account does not itself cancel a subscription with a payment provider. Cancel the subscription with that provider as well.
After cancellation, access may continue until the end of the paid billing period, subject to the provider’s rules and your purchase terms. Refund eligibility depends on the provider’s applicable policy and law. For Google Play purchases, see Google Play’s refund information. For a billing or access problem, contact the payment provider or email hello@vetscraft.com with your account email and relevant transaction details. Please do not send payment card numbers by email.
5. Acceptable use
You may use Vetscraft for your own lawful learning and reference purposes. You agree not to:
- copy, scrape, systematically download, republish, sell, or redistribute substantial portions of our content without permission;
- share account credentials or attempt to bypass subscription or access controls;
- interfere with the website, app, servers, or other users’ access;
- upload or submit unlawful, infringing, misleading, abusive, or harmful material; or
- use Vetscraft in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
6. Content, intellectual property, and user submissions
Unless otherwise stated, Vetscraft or its licensors own the rights to Vetscraft branding, articles, illustrations, app design, and other original content. Your access to the services gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive right to use that content in accordance with these terms. It does not transfer ownership or grant permission to commercially reuse the content.
If a Vetscraft feature allows you to submit a comment or other material, you remain responsible for what you submit and must have the rights needed to submit it. You grant Vetscraft a non-exclusive license to display, store, reproduce, and moderate that material as needed to operate the feature. We may remove submissions that violate these terms or applicable law. We do not endorse user submissions merely because they appear on our services.
7. Advertising and third-party services
Some free content may display advertisements, including ads supplied through Google AdMob in the Android app. Ads and links may lead to third-party services. A third party’s products, claims, privacy practices, and terms are its own responsibility. The presence of an advertisement or link does not mean Vetscraft endorses it.
Payments, app distribution, and certain account or technical functions may also depend on third-party providers. Their applicable terms may govern your use of their services in addition to these terms. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Availability, updates, and changes to content
We may correct or update content, change features, perform maintenance, or release app updates. An older app version may stop working when an update is required for security, compatibility, or a significant defect. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every item will remain available indefinitely. Where a change materially affects a paid service, we will handle it in accordance with applicable law and the relevant purchase terms.
9. Account deletion
You can request deletion of your Vetscraft account through the account deletion option in the app or at the website account deletion page. The current process includes a 30-day recovery period during which you can reactivate your account. After that period, the request is reviewed for permanent deletion. Certain records may need to be retained where required or permitted by law, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Account deletion does not cancel a subscription billed by Google Play or another provider; cancel it separately with that provider.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Vetscraft is provided without a guarantee that its content or services will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular clinical or business purpose. You remain responsible for how you apply information obtained through Vetscraft.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Vetscraft is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the services. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable consumer rights.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the website, app, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice. Your continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms, subject to applicable law.
