Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 27, 2026

Vetscraft provides veterinary educational content and related tools through vetscraft.com and the Vetscraft Android app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you. It applies to the Vetscraft website, your Vetscraft account, and the Vetscraft Android app. Features described here may vary by device, account status, subscription plan, and availability.

Information We Collect

Account and profile information. When you create or use a Vetscraft account, we may collect your name, email address, username, password credentials, phone number, professional title, qualification, email verification status, and information you choose to provide in your profile. We use verification codes and account messages to confirm your email address, help you sign in, recover your account, and protect it.

Subscription and purchase information. We record your plan, subscription status, access rights, purchase source, and information needed to provide or verify your subscription. For purchases made through Google Play, Google handles the payment process. We receive and verify purchase information, such as a product ID and purchase token, to activate and maintain your access. We do not receive your full payment card number from Google Play. Website purchases, when offered, may be handled by a separate payment provider under that provider’s terms and privacy policy.

Learning and app activity. Depending on the features you use, we may process article access and allowance records, saved articles or drugs, study progress, account-linked preferences, and information needed to synchronize eligible features across devices. Some saved content and preferences may also be stored locally on your device, including offline content when that feature is available and enabled.

Messages and support requests. If you contact us, submit a form, post a comment, or request support, we may collect the information you send, such as your name, email address, message, and related correspondence.

Technical and usage information. Our website and app, hosting services, and service providers may process information such as IP address, device and browser details, operating system, app version, identifiers used for app functionality or advertising, pages or features accessed, timestamps, diagnostic information, and security logs. We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Vetscraft.

How We Use Information

  • Provide veterinary articles, tools, account features, and subscription benefits.
  • Create and secure accounts; send verification codes, password reset messages, service emails, and important account notices.
  • Verify purchases, manage access across the website and supported devices, and address billing or support issues.
  • Save and synchronize eligible reading preferences, saved items, and study progress.
  • Send app notifications where you have permitted them and operate notification-related features.
  • Display and measure advertising where ads are enabled for your access level.
  • Maintain the security and reliability of our services, prevent abuse and fraud, and diagnose problems.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations and respond to valid requests.

Website Cookies and Similar Technologies

The website may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, protect forms, understand website use, and support advertising. Your browser settings may let you block or delete cookies, although some account features may then work differently. Advertising partners may use cookies or other identifiers as described in their own policies.

Advertising and Privacy Choices

Vetscraft may display Google advertising on the website through services such as AdSense and in the Android app through Google AdMob. Ads may be shown to visitors and to users on plans that include ads. Ad-free plan benefits depend on your active subscription and the platform’s available features.

Google and its partners may process information such as device or advertising identifiers, IP address, app interactions, and ad activity to deliver, measure, and protect advertising, subject to applicable settings and consent requirements. You can learn more at Google’s advertising technologies page and manage relevant Google settings at My Ad Center.

Where required, the Android app requests advertising consent through Google’s consent tools before requesting ads. If an advertising privacy options control is available for your location, you can find it under Account → Ad privacy choices in the app and revisit your choices there. Your device settings may also offer controls for advertising identifiers and notifications.

Notifications and App Services

The Android app uses Firebase services, including Firebase Cloud Messaging for notifications and Firebase Remote Config for app configuration. These services may process device or installation identifiers and technical information needed to deliver messages and configuration. You can control notification permission through your device settings. Disabling notifications does not prevent essential account or service emails. For more information, see Firebase Privacy and Security.

When We Share Information

We share information with service providers only as needed to operate Vetscraft. These may include website hosting and security providers, email delivery services, Google services used for Android app distribution, subscription verification, notifications, configuration and advertising, and a website payment provider where applicable. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or our services, or in connection with a legitimate change in ownership or operation of Vetscraft.

We do not receive the full card details used for a Google Play purchase. We do not treat information you submit in a private account or support request as a public post. Information you choose to publish in a website comment or another public feature may be visible to others.

Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls and secure connections where supported. Account authentication information and certain app data may be stored on our servers, while some preferences, saved items, and offline content may be stored on your device. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please protect your password and contact us if you believe your account has been misused.

Retention and Account Deletion

We retain account and feature information while it is needed to provide Vetscraft and for appropriate security, support, accounting, or legal purposes. Local app data may remain on a device until you remove it, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. Copies in backups and records that we must retain for legal or accounting reasons may remain for a limited period after other information is deleted.

You can request deletion in the Android app under Account → Delete account or through the website at Delete your Vetscraft account. The website flow may ask you to sign in and verify your request. A confirmed request starts a 30-day recovery period. During that period, you can sign in and reactivate the account. After the recovery period, the account is reviewed for permanent deletion. Permanent deletion removes the account and associated learning data, subject to any records we must retain for legitimate legal, security, or accounting reasons. If you need help with a deletion request, email hello@vetscraft.com.

Deleting your Vetscraft account does not itself cancel a subscription billed by Google Play or another payment provider. You should also cancel the subscription with the provider that bills you. Google Play subscriptions can be managed at Google Play subscriptions.

Your Choices and Rights

You may review or update available profile details in your account, change device notification settings, manage advertising choices where offered, and request account deletion. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact hello@vetscraft.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where permitted or required by law.

Children

Vetscraft is intended for veterinary students, professionals, and other users seeking veterinary educational material. It is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.

International Use

Vetscraft and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Applicable privacy protections may differ by location. We use service providers and safeguards appropriate to the services we offer and applicable requirements.

External Links

Our website and app may link to external websites, app stores, or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information to them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Vetscraft features or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. Where appropriate, we may provide an additional notice.
