Mean circulatory filling pressure

Mean circulatory filling pressure eventual pressure in the static circulatory system when there is no pressure difference between the aorta and the vena cava and the pressure throughout the circulatory system which is called mean circulatory filling pressure, and it is  is 7 mm Hg. This pressure is caused by the static blood distending the blood vessels; the vessels being elastic, they recoil and this recoiling accounts for the pressure in the static circulation.
